Notes
Storage: Wrap assembled sandwiches in foil and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 8-10 minutes or microwave for 45-60 seconds. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap then foil and freeze up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before reheating.
Substitutions: For vegetarian, omit turkey bacon and add sautéed mushrooms or avocado. Use gluten-free croissants for gluten-free version. Swap to egg whites and low-fat cheese for a lighter option.
Pro Tips: Don’t overcook the eggs remove from heat while slightly creamy. Toast the croissant lightly to prevent sogginess. Use room temperature eggs for fluffier scramble. Add hot sauce, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard for extra flavor.
Make-Ahead: Prepare scrambled eggs and turkey bacon the night before. Store separately in airtight containers and assemble in the morning for faster prep.
